Scope of Work

Website Homepage Redesign

Objective

To improve user experience by addressing UI and UX issues on the “Hello Fresh” homepage, including navigation, layout, color design, and the footer. The redesign aims to increase user engagement by delivering a cleaner, more intuitive interface for America’s most popular meal kit service.

Navigation Bar

It looks like an old model, not aligned and lack of space between them. Making it difficult for users to navigate between sections.

Hero Section

The hero section had poor visual hierarchy and weak CTAs, failing to immediately grab users’ attention or encourage interaction.

Visual Hierarchy

The use of headings, buttons, and text lacked contrast, which led to a confusing user journey.

Layout & Imagery

Overwhelming layout with inconsistent image placements and poorly structured content, negatively affecting readability.

Footer

The footer was lacking organization and didn’t efficiently direct users to important information or resources.

Color Scheme & Typeface

The color palette wasn’t cohesive, creating a visually confusing experience. The font really thin and not the right selection for this theme

The redesign of the Hello Fresh homepage focused on creating a cleaner, more engaging, and user-friendly experience. By addressing key UI/UX issues—such as navigation, layout, and color scheme—this redesign offers a strong example of my ability to apply design principles to solve real-world problems, improving both functionality and aesthetics.

Navigation Bar

Users can now easily access all sections of the site through a more organized and visually appealing navigation bar.

Engaging Hero Section

A bold headline and compelling imagery now give users a clear introduction to the service, with a prominent CTA to start their meal kit journey.

Improved Visual Hierarchy

Content is easier to read and navigate due to clear headings and balanced white space, improving user retention.

Optimized Layout

The homepage layout provides a smoother, more logical flow, allowing users to explore features and benefits easily.

Consistent Branding

A cohesive color palette helps create a visually appealing experience, reinforcing Hello Fresh’s identity.

Functional Footer

The improved footer now serves as a helpful resource center, making it easier for users to access important links without having to search.
